ERE Unveils Regulation on Natural Gas Licensing

Those that are going to require a licence in order to engage in activities in the natural gas sector will have to fulfil a series of conditions while the terms of their licenses will depend on the type of their activity.
The longest available licence will be valid for 30 years, but there are some restrictions. These specifications were made by the Energy Regulatory Entity (ERE) in the regulation on the procedures for issuing, modifying, transforming and removing license sin the natural gas sector.
The validity term of a license issued by ERE on gas transmission, supply and storage will be 30 years. The extension of a license validity will be for a period of ten years.
Moreover, the regulation includes all the documents that must be submitted by individuals or companies that are interested in getting a license on the natural gas sector.
The record of licenses will be accessed online in order to provide transparency on the operators that exercise activities in such important sector. The record will be refreshed every time a new license is issued.
