Bank of Albania has issued the latest analysis made for the Economic Sentiment Indicator, showing that this indicator increased by 5.1 points during the second trimester of this year. The report also shows that the current indicator has reached the higher points in years. Albanian consumers have increased their trust regarding the sectors of services and industry while the trust in the construction and trade sectors has decreased slightly, according to the central bank report.
Economic Sentiment Indicator’s positive performance has come as a consequence of the increase of the production balance and the improvement of the financial situation in general terms. This has also been affected by the positive predictions of the citizens and financial institutions for the improvement of the economic performance during this year.
The economic sentiment indicator for the industry sector increased by 6.4 points of percentage above the long term average, while for the sector of services it increased by 3.7 points of percentage. In general terms, the Economic Sentiment Indicator stands above the long term average of this indicator by 3.8 points of percentage.
