Divjaka has opened the touristic season for this year in an official ceremony attended by the MP for the area, Erjon Brace, the Mayor of Divjaka Municipality Fredi Kokoneshi and citizens of Divjaka.
Known as one of the pears of the Adriatic coastline, Divjaka has much to offer for new and returned tourists each season of the year but especially in summer. The southeast city is well known for the nearby National Park of Karavasta. Divjaka Beach has great sand, and the forest is one of the best in Albania.
The Divjaka – Karavasta national park is a wonderful piece of nature in Albania, a state protected area which offers wide opportunities not only for tourism but also for scientific researches for its biological and biodiversity features.
The MP for the area invited all Albanians to visit Divjaka, saying that “here you will find the doors opened for you and very hospitable people.”
Divjaka city and its park gets visited by more than 80 000 tourists only during the summer season, according to statistics.
