After the General Directorate of Taxation made a public call to all businesses to submit their updated information regarding their commercial activities at the National Registration Center, long lines the long lines created at the headquarters of the NRC have fostered polemics.
On this behalf, the National Registration Center issued a public statement, arguing that its staff is working in long hours to comply with businesses’ needs. The deadline for the finalization of information declaration by businesses has been postponed until April 1st, announced an official statement of the General Directorate of Taxation.
The statement cites: “Taking in consideration the high influx of application by businesses, the last deadline for the update of primary and secondary addresses of businesses and the update of economic codes at the offices of National Registration Center is postponed until April 1st, 2015.”
The economic code of a business is its main activity and the update of primary and secondary addresses is requested only if the address of a business has changed from the last registration made at the NRC.
