‘Days of Mio’ Gathers Foreign Painters in Korca

TIRANA, October 25

The International colony of artists ‘Days of Mio’ gathered some 19 painters from Egypt, Poland, Denmark, Turkey, Greece, Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia, and Albania in the city of Korca. This is the ninth edition of this even named after the famous impressionist painter form this city, Vangjush Mio.

Every year painters from different countries join the event that focuses on one single motif, the autumn colors in Korca. Afterwards, their paintings will be displayed for the public in an exhibition that is going to open on October 28 at the National Museum of Education in Korca. This activity is one of the main event for figurative arts in Albania and now it turned into an annual tradition.
