Confidence indicators on the economy increased, says Bank of Albania

Bank of Albania announced on Friday, October 16, that confidence indicators in the construction and trade sectors have increased during the third quarter of the year, compared to the second quarter. On the contrary, the confidence indicators for sectors of services and industry have decreased, as well as the indicators of economic sentiment which shrunk by 2.7 points.

Bank of Albania report says businesses in the industry sector consider that the economic situation in Albania has improved during the third quarter of the year and they expect a further improvement of it.

The evaluation of the domestic demand was lower than the previous quarter since its balance decreased by 4.6 points of percentage. In turn, the evaluation of businesses for the increase of exports was optimistic since the balance increased by 4.1 points of percentage.
