TIRANA, December 23
The price of round-trip flights to Italy decreased compared to one year ago when the average flight price was Euro 200. Increased competition in the airline industry is providing more flight option to people that travel to Italy. Italy is the main destination of flights from and to Tirana International Airport. Therefore, competition between Alitalia, Blue Panorama and the new low-cost airline Fly Ernest had an impact on ticket prices.
A round trip flight to Rome in April with Alitalia starts from Euro 132 and with Blue Panorama from Euro 120.
The newest low-cost carrier Fly Ernest will launch the new route Roma-Tirana-Roma in April and one ticket will cost half the cost of other airlines. These are the prices for flights booked at least three months in advance. This is a great advantage for those that plan to book flights for the summer season.
