Become a young sea leader. The Ministry of Tourism and Environment launched a call for proposals for youth-led initiatives against marine pollution. If you have an innovative idea or approach to tackle sea pollution and you’re between the age of 18 and 22, you are eligible to apply (for a contact person see below).
The call for proposals was launched in the framework of Integrated Waste Management and Marine Litter Prevention in the Western Balkans project, financed by the German Government and implemented by GIZ.
The project consists of various stages that include:
Idea submission – due 20 June
Selection of applications: 20 – 25 June
Training sessions on marine pollution – by 15 July
Independent idea development – until 15 August
Awareness raising events – 15 July-15 December
Presentation of the best ideas and support schemes – 15 August
Interested applicants can join as individuals or team of up to three members. They must submit an expression of interest for joining the project and a concept idea 500 to 700 words.
The applicants can submit the required documents by email to [email protected] until 20 June.
The selected applicants will be notified within seven days from the application deadline. They will be provided all the details on further events and meetings. Accommodation, travel, and meals will be covered by the organizers.
