The fourth call for project proposals under C.A.U.S.E program, which stands for Confiscated Assets Used for Social Experimentations, is open until February 25th. This call for proposals has a specific goal focused on the sustainable re-use of three confiscated assets from the organized crime in Durres, Elbasan, and Saranda. The assets will be re-used for the establishment of social enterprises by civil society organizations. The budget available for this call for proposals is Euro 15,000.
The Project “C.A.U.S.E. – Confiscated Assets Used for Social Experimentations” is implemented by Partners Albania, in partnership with two Italian organizations: Project Ahead and Comitato Don Peppe Diana. The project is funded by the European Union (EU) through the Delegation of the European Union in Albania. It aims to create a good model of sustainable re-use of confiscated assets from the organized crime through the creation of a new cohort of CSOs, capable to manage these assets.
Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) that fulfill all the eligibility criteria defined in the Guidelines for Applicants and whose object of activity is the social, cultural, and health rehabilitation of persons in need, especially those victims of organized crime, affected or endangered by crime and needed of protection and rehabilitation, including therapeutic centers and organizations, centers of re-training and curing users of narcotic substances, as well as centers of assistance and rehabilitation of the victims of trafficking in human beings.
