The Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania (BoA) adopted the details about the new Lek 10,000 banknote. The new banknote will show the image of renowned Albanian poet Asdreni, combined with the symbols of the Albanian flag, and the verse from the National Anthem “Rreth flamurit te perbashkuar/me nje deshir’ e nje qellim”. The image of the banknote is not unveiled yet. The Supervisory Council also adopted the additional text related to the name of the bank, the nominal value and the size of the new banknote.
