Bank of Albania: Lending to the economy increased

Bank of Albania’s latest report on the performance of lending during October of this year shows that lending to the economy increased by ALL 2 billion by the end of October, compared to the level of lending recorded on September of this year.

Lending to the economy reached the value of ALL 548.1 billion, according to the report. In addition, the report says that during the last quarter of this year lending to the economy has continued to increase, due to the increase of consumption.

Speaking in annual terms, lending to businesses increased by ALL 4 billion during October of this year while lending to individuals increased by 1.6%. Bank of Albania’s experts say lending to the economy has revived in the last months.
