On Thursday, Bank of Albania published the Financial Stability Report for the First Semiannual of 2015, which confirms that the banking system in Albania remains stable and well capitalized. At this current state, the banking system in Albania has the needed capacities to support the economic growth, says the report.
It cites that “the banking system has passed with success the resistance tests. Even in case of deteriorating situations, the parameters of capitalization and liquidity would remain within the minimum rates. The economy will continue to grow at the same rates as during the first semiannual of this year. “
Regarding the inflation, the report says it will increase in line with the latest developments in the Euro zone and with the expansion of demand. The erase of nonperforming loans from banks’ balances was a positive step since the level of nonperforming loans for businesses and individuals decreased significantly.
