The Albanian Local Economic Development Agency AULEDA has been awarded as one of the best agencies in the ILS LEDA International Conference at Expo Milano 2015 international fair where Albania is showcasing its values and potential through activities and promoting booths.
According to the General Director of AULEDA Mirela Koci, “more than 30 local economic development agencies participated in the successful ILS LEDA international conference. AULEDA Albanian agency and another agency were chosen as two of the most successful agencies among 30 of them, by winning two evaluation certificates about innovation and the best experiences.” Koci added that AULEDA was given the first prize for the application of innovation in the agriculture sector, for mobile machineries used for the production of olive oil and its contribution in supporting the development of social entrepreneurship by women.
Auleda is a non-profit nongovernmental organization established in August 2003 in Vlora, Albania, as part of the international network of Local Economic Development Agencies sponsored by ILSLEDA. It is an independent body, with its own legal structure and functional autonomy, based on a public-private partnership. AULEDA mission is to sustain the social, economic, cultural and environmental development of Vlora region, reinforcing and integrating its own resources according to the principles of human development.
