TIRANA, July 8
The Consumer Index Price (CPI) in June 2016 was 1.2 percent, data issued by the Institute of Statistics (INSTAT) confirmed on Friday.
Based on these data, the annual growth rate in June was push up mainly from food and non-alcoholic beverage, education services, alcoholic beverages and tobacco, furniture household goods and maintenance, housing, water, electricity gas and other fuel, etc.
“Compared to June 2015, prices increased the most in the group,“Education services” group by 4.8 %, followed by “Food and non-alcoholic beverage” by 2.7 %,“Recreation and culture” group by 1.6 %, “Alcoholic drinks and tobacco” group by 1.4 etc,” it was in the press release.
Meanwhile, compared to May 2016 prices decreased the most in food and non-alcoholic beverage group by 1.9 %.
