Albanian Postal Service to collaborate with Deutsche Post DHL Group

The Albanian Postal Service is seeking to collaborate with Deutsche Post DHL Group. The General Director of the Albanian Postal Service, Majlind Lazimi held an official visit at the premises of Deutsche Post DHL Group in Germany, with the aim to propose a closer collaboration between the two institutions.

At the meeting held with board members of Deutsche Post DHL, the General Director Lazimi presented the latest initiatives and projects undertaken by the Albanian Post in the last months. He highlighted the project on the digitalization of postal and financial services, the establishment of PostBank, the new platform on mobile payments and the ambitions project for creating a platform to support the development of e-commerce in the country.

According to Lazimi, the pairs agreed on enhancing the collaboration in fields of mutual interest as the e-commerce sector, the express postal service and a closer collaboration in the IT aspects. Deutsche Post DHL Group will provide more assistance and a professional expertise in the financial aspect.  Lazimi declared that the visit will be followed by other meetings where the pairs will discuss on concrete ways to start collaborating and exchanging experiences and knowledge.
