Albanian Customs have published the official data of the amount of incomes collected in August, a historical amount or 14.707 bl ALL. According to these data, this amount of incomes deposited in the state budget is estimated to be the highest amount during this year.
“August month has been characterized by a considerable growth of customs clearance of the main excise goods,” is announced in the official report of Albanian Customs.
During August, more than 344 tons of cigarettes were a subject of customs clearance instead of 302.20 tons in the same period of the previous year, marking a growth of 13.9%. as for the crude oil products, more than 55.038 tons of crude products were subject of customs clearance, more than 25.9% compared to the same period of a year before.
Circa 138 bl ALL have been deposited in the state budget in the period October 2013-August 2014, marking a growth of 13% more ALL deposited compared to the same period of the previous year.
According to official sources, the main objectives of this institution to be achieved in the months to come, are the fight against the corruption, contraband and fiscal evasion.
