The dispute between the Albanian Electricity Distribution System Operator (OSHEE) and DIA company has finally come to an end after the Arbitrage Court in Vienna revealed its final decision in favor of the Albanian Government. The news was announced by the Minister of Energy and Industry Damian Gjiknuri via a Facebook update by publishing the signed decision of the Arbitrage Court.
DIA company (Debt International Advisory) claimed the Albanian government should compensate the company by an amount of EUR 135 for breach of contract. A few years ago, DIA company signed an agreement with the then CEZ company for allocating the CEZ company revenues.
Gjiknuri said in his statement, “this confirmed the justice of the agreement with CEZ. This victory is the best response for those who did not believe us.”
