Albania to Join World Cleanup Action on September 15

TIRANA, September 10

Albanian volunteers will join millions of people from over 150 countries in a global clean up event this Saturday, September 15. ‘Garbage is everywhere, don’t act like you can’t see it’ is the motto of the Albanian movement that aims to bring people together in the biggest civic action in human history. Besides helping to remove waste and garbage from public places, parks, beaches, and river banks, this event focusses on teaching people that this is about our future and the future of the planet and next generations.
The World Cleanup Even in Albania is organized by Let’s Cleanup Albania, Let’s Do It Albania, Green Line Albania, and Let’s Clean up the Coastline.
In the meantime, the European Union Delegation and Green Line Albania will organize a beach cleanup event on Saturday in Spillea area on the occasion of the Coastal Cleanup Day.
If you want to give your contribution, there will be a bus leaving from ABA center at 9:00 hours.
