Albania’s tourism potential is showcased at the IMTM 2017 international tourism fair organised in Tel Aviv, Israel. Albania is one among 58 other countries from all over the world that are attending the event. It is represented by the national Tourism Agency and several tour operators. This is a great option for attracting Israeli tourists to Albania.
Minister of Economic Development, Tourism, Trade and Entrepreneurship Milva Ekonomi was enthusiast about the interested for the Albanian stand. She also highlighted the reasons why Israeli people must learn more Albania’s tourism potential in an interview for Ynetnews.
On the other hand, tour operators said that the participation of Albania in this fair is really important because the Israeli market is special. They also added that tourists from Israel are interested in Albania’s mountain tourism, historic heritage, culinary and climate.
IMTM tourism fair is the largest annual event of its kind organized in the Eastern Mediterranean region and it serves to promote incoming, outgoing and domestic tourism. Over 25,000 visitors attended this fair in 2016.
