In the framework of the promotion of Albania, a Ministry of Foreign Affairs delegation, headed by the Deputy Minister Selim Belortaja participated in the Trade and Investments expo in Ningbo city, China.
The Albanian delegation presented to Chinese businesses and exhibition visitors the touristic potential and bio products of Albania as Morava honey, Cobo wine, Dhermiu olive oil, medicinal plants which grow in the country, ect.
The Ningbo authorities organized for the first time the Trade and Investments exhibition and conferences for Cooperation and Tourism Exchange for 16 Central and East European countries. The series of activities aimed the strengthening of the cooperation between China and European countries, among them Albania.
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Selim Belortaja, said that China is an unlimited opportunity for the Albanian producers to export their products. “The exhibition of Ningbo is a serious effort for the promotion of our products,” declared Belortaja.
In turn, the Director of the Department of Asia at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Albana Dautllari made an appeal to the Chinese touristic agencies to include Albania in their touristic destinations for Europe. “While you visit Albania, you will live an unforgettable experience because it offers a full package of different touristic destinations and attractions,” declared Dautllari which displayed a short documentary for Albania to the attendants of the exhibition.
After the meeting with high ranked local authorities, Belortaja added that Albania seeks to follow the initiatives presented by China, by combining them with our agenda for the European integration.
