Albania is lobbying for listing its Coast of Ohrid Lake as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The proposal will be completed within January 2017 in order to be officially submitted in March. Based on the data collected by Albanian and international institutions, the site proposed is going to include the coast of the lake, the landscape in Lin Peninsula and Lin village, Drilon, the landscape in the northern part of Lin, where the ancient Illyrian settlements are located.
