Albanian Assembly Speaker Ilir Meta, had an official visit in Morocco, on October 31th, hosted by Morocco Minister of Foreign Affairs, Salaheddine Mezouar.
During the official meeting between the two high officials, the most important topic discussed was the finalization of three ongoing agreements that will enhance Albania-Morocco collaboration. The three agreements aim to facilitate the visa regime between countries, the cut of double taxation and the third agreement is related to the boost and protection of investments in respective countries.
During the meeting, it was highlighted the will of the two parliaments in deepening the bilateral legal framework, in order to make these agreements concrete sooner.
In turn, Morocco Minister of Foreign Affairs, Salaheddine Mezouar, said these agreements will be particularly useful in opening a new cooperation chapter between Albania and Morocco. Mezouar hailed the correct stance of Albania in the support of the maintenance of territorial integrity of Morocco Kingdom, by emphasizing this as a real contribute in the regional stability of the Sahara area.
Later, the two high officials held discussions for further cooperation in the diplomacy field, to increase joint collaboration of countries in the international plan, by saying that Albania and Morocco share the same perspective on war against terrorism, security and the strengthening of peace in the world.
