Albania has improved its ranking in Euromoney Country Risk Survey Q1 2015 with six positions, according Euromoney.com. The country-risk expert of Piraeus Bank Group, Dimitria Rotsika, stated that “the Eurozone’s panorama has improved the confidence towards Albania, but reforms play a key role in this regard.”
Euromoney Country Risk Survey evaluates and ranks the banks and countries’ economies by taking in consideration the level of risk these economies are exposed to. The survey has ranked Albania the 103rd among 186 countries in the world.
The report about the Albanian economy shows that four of five economic indicators studied have improved as well as four of six political indicators. This the third time the position of the Albanian economy has improved in Euromoney’s Survey regarding its expose to the risk, since the second trimester of 2014.
Euromoney evaluates and ranks countries’ economies based on the study of emerging markets (EMs) with fiscal and external imbalances, vulnerable to capital outflows, ect.
