Albania and Greece vow to collaborate in many key fields of economy, in mutually beneficial projects. This was the main point of discussion at the meeting of Albanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ General Secretary Qirjako Qirko, with his Greek counterpart, Anastassis Mitsialis in Tirana. At the meeting, both high ranked officials praised the reached agreement between the two countries for the toponyms issue, based on which Albanian citizens can move freely to Greece and vice versa.
The two officials met in the framework of the discussions in secretariat level between Albania and Greece and urged the finalization of many undergoing projects of mutual interest. These projects are being implemented in fields of tourism, agriculture, education and culture.
The two high ranked officials vowed to enhance their countries’ institutional engagement for a better contribution in strengthening and improving friendly relations between Albania and Greece. They also evaluated the excellent current relations and the desire to search and elaborate solutions for different problems, which will bring mutual benefits and will enhance the better understanding between the two countries.
