The Albanian Institute of Statistics published a report on Albania’s foreign trade during April of this year, according to which Albania’s foreign trade mostly focused in the EU market (68.9% of the total) during April 2016.
Albanian exports to the EU market reached 73.1% of the total amount of exports to international markets, while EU countries’ imports to the Albanian market reached 67.2% of the total amount of imports in Albania’s market.
During April 2016, Albania increased trade with Italy by 22.7%, with Greece by 18.7% and with Serbia by 127.2%, regarding exports and imports. Albania’s main EU trade partner countries are Italy (ranked the first / 35.9%), Germany (12%), Greece (7.2%) and Turkey (5.5%).
