The Albanian National Agency of Coastline represented by the Head of NAC Auron Tare took part at an international forum organized by the Nanyang University in Singapore, dedicated to tourism. The main theme of the forum was “The creation of unique models where the cultural heritage linked with the coastline serves the economic and tourism development of communities”.
The forum was focused on the management of the coastline and the head of the National Agency of Coastline presented for the first time in this annual forum successful tourism projects in Albania such as the Sazan Island, Via Egnantia and the management model of Butrint National park during the first day of it.
According to Tare, during the second day of the forum, the main theme discussed among panelists and attendants was “Massive tourism or cultural tourism” which highlighted the future perspective of tourism in countries with a rich cultural heritage. The discussions tried to identify the best practices and manners of how countries can manage the cultural sites which are obviously transformed into tourism sites.
