Starting from March 12 until March 15, the Palace of Congresses in Tirana capital has transformed into a showcase place of joinery products, due to the “Albania 2015” Joinery Fair, an international fair organized by Albexpo Group.
The fair was visited by local and regional joinery business representatives, joinery handicrafts and workers and potential buyers. Prime Minister Edi Rama held a visit on Thursday evening and spoke to journalists about the importance of this fair and the joinery sector, which according to him, has employed more than 80 thousand employees in Albania.
“Joinery is a very potential sector which currently has employed more than 80.000 people throughout the country and the expectations for the increase of employee’s number are beyond 100.000 hired people in this sector in a short time,” declared Rama.
There is still to improve in this sector, added the Prime Minister, but our ambitions are the increase of consumers’ reliability and the increase of exports. I am convinced that the industry will be arm opened for the talented people which want to become part of this field, he added.
The international fair of joinery which is taking place in Tirana capital, will be opened to visitors until March 15th.
