Tirana Business Park held on Tuesday the inauguration ceremony of its three modern buildings which will be used as office spaces for companies operating in the Albanian territory.
The ceremony was attended by high ranked officials of the Albanian government including the Prime Minister Edi Rama and the recently elected Mayor of Tirana Municipality and former Minister of Social Welfare, Erion Veliaj. Among the participants were also the German ambassador to Tirana Helmut Hoffman and the head of the German Chamber of Commerce to Tirana.
Tirana Business Park is the so-far biggest German investment in Albania worth EUR 100 ml, a modern real estate project that is projected to finalize within 2020. The complex of buildings offers comfortable office and co-office spaces for freelancers, microenterprises, medium sized and large enterprises which want or have already established their business in Albania.
Albanian Prime Minister started his speech by saying: “It took me only a few minutes to come to Germany” and stressing the importance of Germany for Albania as the biggest investor since it has invested circa EUR 1 billion since the fall of communism in the country.
This project, stated Rama, has opened thousand of job vacancies and it predicts to have about 10 thousand of employees in the upcoming years. In addition, Rama said that German investments do not only bring their money to Albania but also their experience and manners of working which are more important than money.
In turn, the newly elected Mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj declared that such initiatives that help in the development of the city will have the biggest support from the local government.
Tirana Business Park is concepted as a full option complex and will offer to its clients spaces for coffee shops, gyms, restaurants, ect.
