European Bank for Reconstruction and Development issued its annually report called “Transition report 2014” has assessed Albania with 4+ points regarding country’s performance in the privatization of large and small sized enterprises for 2014.
The report shows that Albania has improved significantly in this matter, by displaying a better performance than its neighbors as Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia and Bosnia Herzegovina. Its aim is to highlight key developments in countries where EBRD currently operates and to raise awareness about the challenges with which countries in transition will face in the upcoming year.
Transition report 2014 also addresses and analyses the reforms’ progress during 2014 and annually economic developments. Despite the analyses, it also raises questions about how enterprises of countries in transition can be more productive, and how can countries enhance innovative ideas in business field?
European Bank for Reconstruction and Development currently operates in 35 countries and has published unique reports for each member country, in order to present to the wide public detailed information about enterprises’ new production processes, new organizing strategies and new marketing policies they need to use. The annual report assesses countries with 1 to 4+ points for their annually performance.
