Foreign languages (first and second) are part of the school curricula starting primary education. Foreign language is a compulsory A-level exam for high-school students.

At a national level, there are five Foreign language High Schools located in Tirana, Shkodra, Elbasan, Korca, and Gjirokastra.

Given the young age of the Albanian population, basic computer literacy is wide-spread all over the country. Moreover, there’s a total of 3,200 students in computer sciences education programs and over 7,300 certified IT professionals.

The net salary level in Albania is lower compared to all the other countries in Eastern Europe. Tirana has a low cost of living and it’s a vibrant youth capital. Real estate prices are low compared to other countries. Albania is one of the few countries in the world that relies 100percent on clean renewable energy resources.
