More and more Albanians are pulling out their money from banks, a latest Bank of Albania’s report shows. The deposits in ALL are shrinking continually, by marking the lowest record on August of this year. During this months, the total amount of money out of banks was 205.8 bl ALL, 2% more than the previous month.
The shrink of deposits in ALL currency started in March of 2014 according to the Bank of Albania report, and compared to the figures published at that time, more than 12 bl ALL have been pulled out of banks.
The issued report highlights the shrink of deposits in August as new trend since during this period, deposits increase in number as a consequence of incomes from remittances.
