Suspension of activity for 37 joint-stock companies in the hydrocarbons sector

In the framework of the measures taken lately for the monitoring of the quality standarts and the trade of oil gas and their by-products, Ministry of Energy and Industry announced the cancelling of the activity  for 37 joint-stock companies.

According to the declaration issued by the Ministry of Energy and Industry regarding this decision “the controls made by the Central Technic Inspectoriate concentrated in the quality and security indicators that these companies offer and the adhering of legal obligations towardsthe government.”

The cancelling of these companies activity signed by the Minister of Energy Damian Gjinkuri following the proposal of the Central Techninc Inspectoriate.  Suspended wholesale companies represent circa 20% of the companies that exert their activity in this field in Albania.

Following this decision, the Ministry of Energy and Industry has assured for further measures and controls for companies that exercise activity in the oil market, in order to guarantee a qualitive supply of Albanian consumers with oil, gas and their by-products.

The 37 suspended companies are as follow:
