State-owned companies, concession licenses, and second-tier banks were among the top ten most profitable businesses in Albania in 2018. Albania’s GDP reached the highest level for the decade in 2018 with a 4.1 percent growth rate. Top Channel narrowed down the top 10 companies in Albania that helped fuel market growth based on their profit margin. What can be noticed compared to the list of the most profitable companies in 2017, is the absence of gambling companies even though they were legal in 2018.
