TIRANA, May 21
100 students from the University of Applied Sciences in Breda, Netherlands visited the Center of the Visitors of the Karaburun-Sazan Marine Park. The focus of their visit was the presentation with the experience of the management of visitors in the park, challenges and the concerns of the touristic development in protected areas.
Simultaneously, the students had the chance to be introduced with the work of administration in collaboration with the artisan fishermen and ‘UNDP Albania’ regarding the treatment of the maritime turtles in the first aid center built for them.
The visit to the center was made possible in the framework of the studies that are taking place in Albania, focused on the evaluation of the impact that tourism has on the natural environment.
