TIRANA, June 18
The work for Arberi Road, the major infrastructural projects promised to the inhabitants of Dibra region by all the Albanian governments finally started on Sunday. The new road investment that will cost Euro 240 million, is going to reduce the distance between Tirana and Dibra from 180 km to 69 km. The project is expected to be completed in three years. Afterward, the travel time from Tirana to Bulqiza will be only 40 minutes. Several tunnels and bridges will be constructed.
Arberi Road will improve mobility for the inhabitants of Dibra region and also spur economic and tourism development for the mountainous and rural areas.
