The 5th Session of the Albania-Poland Joint Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation held in Tirana on July 15th, aiming to strengthen the Albania-Poland economic and diplomatic cooperation. The session was held by the Albanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the assistance of the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Entrepreneurship.
The Albanian delegation was headed by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Brunilda Paskali, whilst the Polish delegation was led by Mr. Andrzj Dycha, Deputy Minister of Economy, which at the end of the meeting, signed the Protocol of Economic Cooperation. During the session, the high officials of the two countries estimated the so-far friendly collaboration and the volume of trade exchanges and proposed new ways of further cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Apart from counterparts of diplomatic and financial institutions, participants in the meeting were also business representatives from both countries, which hailed the ongoing cooperation between Albania and Poland. According to them this cooperation must enhance in concrete activities, such as fairs, business forums and business to business meetings in order to promote each country, exchange information regarding current economic development.
The signed Protocol between the two countries will serve as a platform for upcoming cooperation projects in key fields of countries economies.
