TIRANA, August 26
Albania and China concluded discussions on the construction of Arbri Road and they also signed an understanding memorandum on simplifying visa application procedures for citizens of both countries. As of now, five-year multiple entry visas will be issued to Albanian and Chinse citizens that are going to travel to each-other countries for business, tourism and other reasons. China Radio International reported on Friday that Albanian Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati signed the agreement with his Chinese counterpart Minister Wang Yi.
Bushati and Wang agreed to boost bilateral cooperation.
βMinister Bushati expressed the willingness of Albanian side to further strengthen inter-state dialogue at all levels: between the two governments, parliamentary, academic, cultural, and other fields of interest mutual,β it was said in the press release issued by the Albanian Foreign Ministry.
On his part, Wang said that China encourages more Chinese tourists to pay visits to the friendly and beautiful European country.
Based on official data, China is ranked as the second largest trade partner of Albania for 2016. Thus, Minister Bushati highlighted the need for enhancing cooperation in the sectors of trade, energy, infrastructure, agriculture, tourism, culture and education.
