The World Bank recently published a new report regarding the economic performance in the global context titled “The Perspectives of the Global Economy”.
According to the report, Albania will experience an economic growth of 3.2% during this year, while it is expected the economy to grow by 3.5% in 2017. For 2018, the World Bank foresees that the economic growth of Albania will reach 3.8%.
As for the global context, the World Bank foresees this year’s world economic growth will experience a slight decrease by 0.5%, compared to the forecasts made by the WB in the beginning of January, 2016.
The report says the world economic growth will be only 2.4% during this year, due to the decrease of oil prices and the slowdown of trade in the international markets.
