Trade with Germany increased slightly during the first quarter of this year, according to a report published by the Albanian Institute of Statistics. The report says trade with Germany comprised 12% of Albania’s trade with other countries during April of this year, at an estimated amount of ALL 19, 434 million.
During January – April 2016, Albanian exports to Germany reached the value of ALL 2, 630 million while German imports to Albania were estimated at a value of ALL 16, 806 million.
Albania exported to Germany market textile and shoes products whose exports increased by ALL 1, 668 million and food, beverages and tobacco (ALL 357 million). German imports to Albanian markets were mostly machinery and equipment during January – April period, at an amount of ALL 1, 114 million.
