The Albanian ambassador in Croatia, Ilir Melo, held an official meeting with Adriatic Gate Container Terminal representatives and discussed collaboration opportunities between the Ports of Durres and the Croatian Port of Rijeka in the transport sector. According to Melo, the discussion focused in the revitalization of the maritime transport of merchandise between the two countries.
Ports of Durres and Rijeka have a long collaboration history in the maritime transport of merchandises and a further collaboration would increase both countries’ trade, according to ambassador Melo.
In turn, the representatives of the Adriatic Gate Container Terminal considered the increase of collaboration of both countries in this sector as very important in order to increase trade between Albania and Croatia.
