Businesses in Albania now will receive business services at the National Business Center, a result of the merging of the National Centers of Registration and Licensing. The National Business Center started its operations in April 1st, due to a law prepared by the Ministry of Economic Development and approved by the parliament in 2015.
The creation of a single center which will offer a variety of services to new and existing businesses is a necessity for the city of Tirana, where the largest amount of businesses is concentrated.
The Center offers registration and licensing services to new businesses and also issues different types of permits. It is thought to operate also as a one stop shop for businesses and reduce significantly the unnecessary bureaucracies and procedures.
It also aims to improve the business climate in the country, will offer much more online services and will reduce the tariffs.
