The Albanian government has received a $32 million loan from the World Bank for the improvement and the centering of public services for citizens. The loan agreement entered in force on March 3rd, according to a report published by the World Bank.
The implementation of this project will reduce many bureaucracies for pensioners and people with low incomes, and also other bureaucracies in the health sector. An important point of this project is the improvement of the IT services in centers that offer public services to citizens.
In a report published lately regarding the public services’ performance by Albanian institutions, the World Bank says these institutions have improved their services by easing the procedures and by reducing the bureaucracies.
The project on facilitating public services is expected to end within December of 2020, says the Bank.
