Italian outsourcing companies in the client service sector

Opening a new business in Italy and calculating the taxes you should pay for your employees, it makes you quit at the time you may think to establish a company. Then you come up with this great idea to open a company in a neighbor country, which offers low taxes and fewer bureaucracies, and which is the most important thing, the same work service by employees (where most of them can even speak Italian). We are talking about a small country called Albania, only 45 km away from Italy.

The biggest Italian companies which are outsourcing their services to Albania are Vodafone Italia, Tim, ”3” Sky,  Mediashopping, Edison and Sorgenia. Statistics from the Albanian Institute of Statistics have published a report according to which currently more than 100.000 Italianslive in Albania.

Albania is the perfect country for Italian companies to outsource because most of Albanians aged 20-25 years old can speak Italian and this is a great advantage for companies.

This has come due to country’s geographic location (situated in front of Italy, only few kilometers away from the Italian city, Bari), which has affected in creating economic, cultural and social connections between Albania and Italy. Another reason why Albanians have wide knowledge on Italian language is that after the fall of communism regime, Albanians were very curious in knowing what was happening to the world, and Italian TV stations, shows and cinematography were the most favorite ones to Albanians.

Emigration is another element that had a huge impact in learning the Italian language and helped in the establishment of strong connections with Italy. Albanians migrated to Italy and immediately absorbed the language and living style, which soon was reflected in Albania.

Some of the common reasons why Italians choose Albania to outsource their services are as follow:

• Cheap workforce
• Same service by workers
• Informal market
• Cheap living costs (for supervisors or high qualified specialists from native countries)
• Multilingual youngsters
• Highly educated employees
