The International Monetary Fund released the October 2015 Global Financial Stability Report which examines the determinants and resilience of market liquidity and the growing level of corporate debt in emerging markets. As for the Albanian Economy, the IMF report foresees that the country will have an economic growth of 2.7% and not 3% as predicted before.
The prediction for Albania’s economic growth is 3.4% from 4% that the IMF declared in the beginning of this year, in the report published in April. The long-term prediction for Albania’s economic growth also has decreased to 4.2% from 4.5% that was declared on April.
The IMF report predicts that many regional countries will also have a lower economic growth compared to the economic growth percentage predicted in the IMF’s report released on April of this year. In global terms, the IMF foresees the economic growth will not increase higher than 3.8%.
