The Albanian Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Edmond Haxhinasto held a meeting with the Australian Ambassador to Tirana, Mr. Michael David Rann. According to the Ministry’s press release, the Minister Haxhinasto presented to the ambassador the reforms undertaken in the infrastructure sector so far such as the reform in water supply. The Minister declared during the meeting that such reforms are crucial for improving the quality of public services for the Albanian citizens.

In turn, the Australian ambassador to Tirana which is currently resident in the Italian capital of Roma, declared that Albania is a very attractive country for foreign investors, especially in the infrastructure field. Rann announced that the Australian Embassy to Tirana is making efforts in bringing financial experts in Albania which are interested in the foreign investments field. According to him, the justice reform is very important and will serve as a guarantee for foreign investors.
