German company Deutsche Agrar Holding will invest in Albania by establishing three agri-terminals in Lushnje, Lezha and Saranda cities, which will serve as multifunctional centers for the agriculture sector. This was announced by the representatives of Deutsche Agrar Holding during a meeting with the Albanian Council of Agriculture, which signed an agreement for the implementation of joint projects in the agriculture field in Albania.
According to Rolf Neuendorf, representative of Deutsche Agrar Holding, the project for the construction of agri-terminals is in its final phase and experts are reviewing the last details regarding the territory where these agri-terminals will be established, their capacity and costs. These platforms will improve the agriculture sector in Albania by providing facilities for farmers for trading and exporting agricultural products.
“Our company has a long experience in the implementation of such projects in the agriculture field and this project will meet the EU standards. We believe the Albanian agriculture market has huge potential and capacities to develop further,” declared Rolf Neuendorf, representative of Deutsche Agrar Holding.
Based on the agreement signed with the Albanian Council of Agriculture, the German company will provide ISO certification for the export of agricultural products and technical assistance for the ACA’s experts in applying for EU funds for the agriculture sector.
