The Assembly Speaker Ilir Meta attended the inauguration ceremony of “HEC Vlushen” hydroelectric power plant in Corovoda, Skrapar, at an installed capacity of 14.2MW.
Meta thanked the investors of this plant for the finalization of this important project in the energy sector by adding that this will reduce unemployment in the region. “I think that long speeches are pointless for such a concrete and meaningful project. Many thanks go to Reoland Jegenin and its Italian partners, as well as the BKT bank which supported this project. This is an excellent opportunity not only for the clean energy it produces but also it brings more employment opportunities for the locals, aiming to improve the living standards of Skrapari city,” stated Meta.
Present in the inauguration ceremony were the Italian ambassador to Albania, Massimo Gaiani, Minister of Agriculture Edmond Panariti, energy experts and locals.
HEC Vlushe project is situated on the Perroi valley in Corovoda, Skrapar. The implementation of this project was made possible by the collaboration of the ANA Energy and Roen Shpk companies with the BKT bank. More than 300 persons have been employed for the realization of this 16 ml EUR project.
